These are UK-based and qualifications at Level 3. They are seen as the next step towards a university degree [Level 4/5] and are normally studied after GCSEs which are a Level 2 qualification.
Most students on a full-time programme aim to cover 3 subjects at ‘A’ Level. However, those students who are unhappy with their GCSE performance can combine ‘A’ Levels with GCSEs, or AS Levels which are a separate course to ‘A’ Levels.
Traditionally, a student will take 2 Years to cover their ‘A’ levels. Our accelerated courses make it possible to complete a programme of ‘A’ levels in a single year! Our staff will provide further advice on this.
